Alget’ar Academy is a Dragonflight dungeon that is available for visiting at level 70. For S4 dungeons Blizzard decided to make a pull of all Dragonflight dungeons. This article reminds you of a long-forgotten dungeon. It is located in the north of Taldrazus on the Dragon Islands. We suggest you familiarize yourself with brief tactics for each of the dungeon bosses and notable creatures. Moreover, with upcoming changes, you may prefer quick and easy runs of M+ and earning max-ilvl loot with ease. You can buy WoW carry and do not worry for timing upgraded 10+ keys without any effort from your side.

In the Alget’ar Academy, you will face 4 bosses:

Vexamus

Crawth

Overgrown Ancient

Echo of Doragosa

At the entrance to the dungeon, you will meet representatives of all five dragon packs and, after talking with one of them, you will be able to get one of the five boosts:

  • Bronze pack – 5% speed.
  • The Blue Pack has 8% skill.
  • The Green Pack is 10% of the healing received.
  • The Red Pack has 5% versatility.
  • Black Pack – 5% critical hit.

Vexamus

As one of the most tenured professors in the academy, Maxdormu uses his powers as a bronze dragon to help bring his history lessons to life. While this proves to be quite an educational and fun experience, it can occasionally go awry. Vexamus is one of Professor Maxdormu’s favorite lessons, but if any historical detail is inaccurate he will be quick to scold any rowdy students.

It has plenty of abilities:

  1. Enchanted Spheres will appear on the boss battle site. They will move towards the boss. If the boss absorbs the sphere, an explosion will follow, causing damage to the entire group, and the boss will also receive 20 energy.
  2. You need to run out of the place of the initial appearance of the spheres, then you need to absorb the sphere so that it does not reach the boss.
  3. After the player absorbs the sphere, he will receive significant damage and a diffuse debuff that increases the damage from Enchanted spheres by 200%.
  4. The ideal way to neutralize the spheres would be to use abilities that give immunity to magic.
  5. After accumulating 100 energy, the boss will apply a Magic Rift. The skill deals significant damage and also knocks back all players. Erupting rifts appear next to each player, dealing deadly damage.
  6. If you successfully intercepted all the Magic Spheres, then the Magic Rift will be applied every ~40 seconds.
  7. The boss will attach Mana bombs to three players. These players should put them aside, preferably in one pile. The bombs disappear after about 1 minute.
  8. The tank must keep the boss turned away from the group, because he does frontal damage from time to time.
  9. The healer must monitor the boss’s energy and heal all the injured members of the group before using the Magic Rift.

Crawth

The Lish Llrath, or Talon Toss, arena is quite literally for the birds these days. Crawth has taken up residence in the center of the arena and has no immediate plans to move out soon. Let’s see if we can get her to play ball… and leave.

There are some of his abilities:

  1. Scoring the ball is the main mechanics of the fight.
  2. There will be two natural gates on the site. With the help of an additional action button, players must throw the ball into any of the gates.
  3. After three balls are thrown into the Fire Gate, fire projectiles will appear on the court until the end of the battle, which you need to dodge.
  4. Also, after the third goal into the Fire Gate, the Krot will be stunned for 12 seconds; during this period, she will receive 75% more damage.
  5. After three balls are thrown into the Air Gate, a mighty wind will rage on the battlefield until the end of the battle, pushing the players away.

  6. Particles will also appear on the battlefield, when selected, the player will receive temporary invulnerability to repulsion and a speed bonus.
  7. Deafening screech – from time to time, the boss will use AoE, which also interrupts abilities; if successfully applied, the player will be mute for 6 seconds.
  8. A deafening screech leaves a cumulative debuff on the players, increasing the damage from subsequent Deafening Screeches.
  9. You can remove the debuff by scoring a goal in any goal.
  10. Once every 30 seconds, the Croat will turn to a random player and apply an Overwhelming Gust, causing huge frontal damage, and pushing players off the court.
  11. All players should stand a little sparsely, so that the whole group does not have to run away from the ability at the moment of applying the Overwhelming Impulse.
  12. Tanks will periodically receive a powerful blow from the boss, leaving bleeding – rotate defensive abilities. Keep in mind, you can dodge or pair the blow.
  13. The healer should monitor the use of Deafening Screeching and by this point try to cure the entire group to full health.

Overgrown Ancient

Professors Mystakria and Ichistrasz have used just a touch too much magic in an effort to clear the botany labs. Now they have a big, leafy problem on their hands in the form of an Overgrown Ancient that threatens to undo all their hard work.

It has plenty of abilities and you should keep an eye on them:

  1. Germination – seeds appear under the feet of the players. After 4 seconds, they sprout, causing significant damage and summoning an ancient acolyte.
  2. Branch – the boss throws his branch at the players, causing significant damage to everyone in the radius of defeat; after that, the branch comes to life and attacks the players.
  3. Players should stand in a bunch so that the minions appear in almost one place – this will allow them to quickly deal with AoE abilities.
  4. The revived branch has the highest priority of killing. In particular, she will use a healing ability – knock her down.
  5. The tank must be ready to collect minions that appear at 100 of the boss’s energy.
  6. Every 20-30 seconds, the boss uses a powerful ability against the tank – use defensive skills.
  7. The healer must monitor the boss’s energy and maintain the group’s health at maximum by the time the boss reaches 100 energy.

Echo of Doragosa

Headteacher Doragosa thought of everything when it came to Algeth’ar Academy. Including a complex simulacrum of herself to take care of any day to day tasks and upkeep while the Isles lay dormant. Now that the Academy is open once again, perhaps she can use it to help keep track of all the new students. It’s done a fine job in the interim, and is absolutely the one spell that did not degrade after all these years. Perfectly stable and helpful. Right?

Here is what you should do to defeat her:

  1. Damage from each boss ability leaves a cumulative debuff on the target – try to avoid damage from all boss abilities.
  2. Damage from some of the boss’s abilities cannot be avoided, so you will still receive a certain number of debuffs.
  3. If possible, stay close to the boss.
  4. After receiving 4 debuff effects, the player will leave the entry zone under him. It exists for two minutes. Try to leave them in a bunch.
  5. Star breath is a frontal AoE directed towards a random player. It is possible and necessary to run out of the area of action.
  6. The energy vacuum of the boss begins to attract players to itself, after which an explosion occurs, causing damage within a radius of 20m.
    Image3
  7. From time to time, the boss will attach an Energy Bomb to a random player, which will explode after 6 seconds, causing damage to all players within a radius of 8 m.
  8. Tanks should slowly lead the boss away from the spilled voidzones, but not too far so that players can continue to leave voidzones near existing ones.

Conclusion

To sum up, we can only remind you that you may want WoW carry of some sort – and Overgear will provide such service.
