When you first started playing Roblox, I bet the first time someone invited you to a group, it was probably some scam page trying to get your password. But now that you are older and wiser, joining groups is something you should do all the time. Just like “buying” things from catalogs are good for your Robloxian’s health, so are joining groups. If you don’t believe me, read this article to find out why!

The most obvious reason is that it’s fun. Joining in on in-game events, gearing up your members with high-level items in the group HQ or just hanging out are all examples of groups being fun. When you have a good group, they usually have great moderators who will make sure everyone is playing nice and having fun.

Groups With Benefits!

There are also many other reasons why you should join a group. They allow you to get VIP or even moderator for your favorite places like Roleplay, Pizza Place, Deathrun and more! Not only that, but you can get free money (Robux) or R$ when you are in a group! Everybody wins.

One more reason to join groups is that it can make you super popular with the Robloxian community. If you are in a top-notch group, people will want to know you and play games with you. It will open up new opportunities, like getting work at places like the Money Tree or the Coffee Shop.

In a Nutshell, Groups Are Great

If you’re not yet in a group, your Roblox experience is only going to get better if you join one. They provide great benefits and opportunities that can really help you out in your Robloxian adventures! So what are you waiting for? Join a group!

Roblox How to Make a Group

First, make sure you have Roblox Studio. If you don’t, go to https://www.roblox.com/develop/ and click the green button that says “CREATE A GAME”. For this how-to, we will be making a group called “Super Cheese Games”. Open up Roblox Studio, and make sure you are on the “Toy Pad” screen, then click “File” and select “New”.

Next up, name your game whatever you want it to be called. Now open up Object Explorer by clicking View > Object Explorer. Delete everything under GameNetwork except for PlayerAvatar (leave this!), GameNetworkService, and GameNetworkMovieScene. Under PlayerAvatar, there are three options for you to choose from. One is the player model, one is the camera that follows your avatar around, and the other is a null object. The null object doesn’t do anything except make things look weird when you play with it. So go ahead and delete it because nobody wants that.

What is Group In Roblox

Now that your Toy Pad is clean, go ahead and click Tools > Control from the toolbar. In the Control window, go to Pannel > Scripts. Open up “LocalScript”. The code you see there is how a basic group works. Delete everything under script1 except for script2 – this is because we are going to use that script to make our group.

Now, click on the Save button in the toolbar (at the top), and save your game as “Group” (you can name it anything you want). We don’t need anymore objects, but if you feel like adding more, go ahead! Now go back to Roblox Studio’s Toolbar and click Run > Start Server. Now you can test out your group! Just invite a friend to play with you, and have fun!
